Thanks you Liana for your good intention and excellent effort on building this multicultural understanding bridge between Arabs and Americans AND Men and women. I read most of your responses and I couldnt agree more. So you, my wife and Q.Rania are living proof that there are beautiful women out there who are smarter than a lot of men and should lead the way. We men take into account too much little details when making decisions to a point where we lose track of the main issue.

Respect!Wonderfull choice of words.People need to understand what respect really is. A few weeks ago in a discussion a (religious) man told me that respect was only "social courtesy". That opened my eyes how people can have such different interpretations of such important words.Take care, LW

I'm such a big fan of people like LlanaG. They actually can change the world by having a respectful, nice and well conceived debate, by putting the spotlight on historic events and bringing such positive energy on youtube.

I agree. Unfortunately in women's search for equality (at least here in the U.S.) they often seem to be trying to become men. They become strange and lost. I hope they figure out eventually that they can't be men and that no one expects them to be. Being the best woman they can is enough.

As a man, I must say, very well put.I wouldn't say its insecurity, though. As you may know, it's hard for men to feel what they are doing is feminine. No matter what happens, they want to be different from females. That's pretty much the reason they want some kind of male-exclusivity for their stuff and activities. It's natural instinct. However, I like the fact that you recognize the differences. That's all we ask for. We're not women, you're not men.

I think , it is not that the woman do every thing man can do , or man do what ever woman can do , it is not the good life , we should share our life to be together , every one should take his part , woman could take care of a child better than man , she can handle as a nurse in the Hospital very good job, there is many things can woman do , but we should be all together , men and woman , because this is our one and the only world we have , so we should live together in peace and understanding.

You sound as if you're looking to pick a debate with mindless femibots. You won't find it here. I don't "take sides" on gender issues. I'm also scientific in my views and not motivated by emotional backlash.

We are agreeing on the biological evidence that men have certain superior traits. That does not have to translate to men beating women or depriving them of rights. Men should be secure in their own worth. Women also have superior traits to men. Are they worth less than the superior traits of men? Nope. Both gender traits are critical to the prosperity of our communities, and species. Do you disagree?
