and those hydro electric dams are great, wind and solar are not reasonable options (run the numbers they take up too much space and cost too much) anyways I'm just saying that these hydrogen car commercials are misleading. (BTW most of the power generated in the US is from coal)

Many large vehicles are already powered by LPG or CNG. Vehicles such as buses, tankers and in the alps many train locomotoves. The fule is carried in carbon fiber reinforced tanks at 3500 psi. Yours is a legitimate concerm but it has been adress for over 20 years now.

indeed. I live in seattle and the vast majority of our energy comes from hydro electric dams on the skagit river and columbia river. works pretty well for us. :)

Electricity can come from plenty of "green" sources including hydro(dams), wind and solar. It doesn't have to come from coal silly.

you sound like a stoner. help yourself to a textbook and look up Conservation of Energy. as for 700 billion cars in the US alone.. how many people do you think live on the earth? I pray for the future

totally worthless. follow the steps back.. how do you get hydrogen? answer- from hydrolysis (pumping electricity through water) where does electricity come from? COAL. yea no pollution... your just running your car on coal. this will be beneficial when fusion power plants ramp up in about 50 years.. until then... go hug a tree, talk about how great the Indians were or hate America. delusional liberals

you wrote in the video discription "We don't need Hydrogen cars, batteries will work just fine for most people. "Well you see if "most" people can afford to spend over 500k on a battery powered car than yeah sure your statement is true. Huge batteries used to power a car would cost an amazing amount of money. The video's idea is far better.

That's not true. It's roughly even, about 1 car per 1 person in US. But you're right, we are gluttons.

700billion cars referring to the sales of the big 8 car mans in us including highest sold imports. you realize thats almost 3 cars per american. we are sad..........gluttons.

What's so outrageous about that? Think of the benefits. You could use it for all your errands, work and back, etc. Then for long trips, just rent a car.and... 700 billion vehicles in US? If we only go half way to solving the problem, we still have the problem.
