thanks, djahren! glad you liked it!i did the vacuum effect by drawing a few different versions of the picture, and then replacing the pieces of paper in between frames, just being careful to match their positions up so it looked like the paper stayed still and only the ink was moving.- colclough

thx, austy! actually my camera eats batteries quite fast too, so i always run off mains power when possible. i've had a couple of incidents where the power ran out when i was about 80% through animating a shot. that's quite annoying, of course Bpabout tripods, apparently you can pick one up for about £20 if you go to the right place. i have no idea how much mine cost, tho.

i've considered getting a USB interface for my brain, but unfortunately the driver software isn't compatible with Win98, so it'll have to wait... 8pjust kidding!

Great, as usual! The USB is very appropriate for someone who's good at making art on the computer!

please do something, just letting us know you want an art category is reason enough. you don't have to be an artist to make art...(wait, what?)

don't be nervous - just pick up a pen or something and have a go! that's what i did... it doesn't matter if it doesn't work out perfectly, sometimes the roughness of something is what gives it its character 8]i'll look forward to seeing what you make!- colclough

Brilliant animation. I am getting more and more nervous about attempting anything, the more great responses I see!!!
