I agree. There is also a perceived dearth of enjoyment for classical type songs, but I believe such songs will still be enjoyed. But as to the dearth of talent, it is not limited to music. All of the malayalam movie insutry is stuck in a talentless cesspool.

Need to appreciate others as well. She is a 5 time national award winning actor and the highest by anybody in acting in India. She has some amazing roles to her credit. Would recommend you to see some work like Arth, Masoom and Godmother.

Amazing music from Ravindran and what a voice of Yesudas. The brilliance of this song is lifted several notches by Mohanlal and his acting. You almost believe that he is singing and the swarams are picturised on him if you notice. This is very rare in any classical song picturization.

there is a real derth of talent in todays film music, especially in malayalam. with Ravindran mash's sad and untimely ( my pranamam to him ) demise there is no one to look forward to in todays malayalam film music. The only solace is that Yesudas is still there. But the songs he get to sing is not even worth the cd in which they are recorded, not to mention about the time spent in listening to them. Kali kalam, allathento parayan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
