I'm not sure I agree. All of these things happen, but I think it's not fair to assume any of these things. Many, many men have no respect for women. This is true. But, not as many men are as shallow as the generalizations like to suggest. Also, just because men are physically more powerful than women doesn't mean that all of them are domestic abusers. Even in many bad relationships it never takes that turn. I think it's just better to give people the beniift on the doubt.
