Actually, the reason English is taught in so many countries is due to the fact that English is made up of many different languages and has therefore through time developed into a sort of international language rather then a language of just one country. The English dont force or think everyone should learn English, its the countries themselves choose to teach it as a sort of second language because its very useful.
