This video always marked a pivotal moment in the skate community (at least up here in Canada) we started doing more flip trips, shovits, and slides. It was a more fun approach. Very cool. I also named a hamster I had after Chet.

Whenever a new bones video came out, our local skate shop would play it for weeks on end on a loop, in their window. We would just sit outside for hours gawping... I think this is the first kickflip I ever saw. Pretty much gave up on the idea that I was ever gonna be pro that day!
