MacPete187, I too wish the US government would stop sending billions of dollars to Israel. Let that money be for the American people. However, what happened in 1947 is no bullshit: it was a catastrophic mistake made by the Arabs who were offered around half of Palestine. I know Arabs who say that today. The 1967 war was another huge Arab mistake. History is important. Let me inform you that there are Arabs in Palestine only because they conquered it through massive bloodshed after Mohammed died.

"Free Palestine"? The Palestinians had a great opportunity to get around HALF of Palestine in 1947, as suggested by the United Nations, but they refused to accept the proposal. In 1967 the Arabs fought a war in which they tried to push the Jews into the sea, but Israel won and captured more territory. The Arabs/Palestinians have screwed themselves and have only themselves to blame for their misery. And what was Hamas trying to achieve by firing rockets into Israel from Gaza? Look at the outcome.

A Political Border is a medieval concept.It basically says "Us" residing within our borders and "Them" those who are not. It separates us physically,politically,socially,etc.Nationality is born out of this idea.The labelling of people regionally and separately. In turn reinforcing the idea of "Us" and "Them" and in this case we've labelled each other as "Enemies."
