Ive watched this series many times on dvd and it never fails to impress for quality BBC drama.One of the BBc finest period dramas with some of the best character acting especially from Colin Firth.

I've never seen this version before. Only the 05 and 1940. Is this one as good?I have watched about 1 minute and 30 seconds, but I like Bingley right off! :D

I think her looks are objective don't you? I think Jennifer is quite pretty. Kiera, as striking as her features are, her skinny frame is a little distracting...at least to me.

I give Kiera credit for adding her own spin on Elizabeth but Jennifer got as close to the written heroine as I think we're going to see. This series is something special. It helps that it was 3x as long so they had the time to actually develop the characters but as lovely as the 05 movie adaptation was, it really doesn't compare.

This Elizabeth is not rude. She is bright and analytical. I find her interesting. I like Jennifer's portrayal much better than Kiera, but I can appreciate both performances. Although, Kiera plays her slightly more immature and hyper.
