I have to criticize the way the statistics about rape are given to the viewer starting at 1:00 . By having so many people talking at the same time, the statistics are unintelligible. I couldn't process anything that was being said. This format causes some problems. By not hearing the statistics clearly, people can't remember them. Furthermore, people may suspect this was a willing distraction to keep them from hearing the facts clearly, and thus make them less willing to believe the facts.

I have been sexually assaulted on a bus and nobody cared...... That isn't because of a cruel society it is just that men being raped or sexually assaulted is "ok" or people assume we enjoy it. What I am basically saying is why isn't the issue of when a man is sexualized raised?

"men are taught not to take 'no' for an answer.."?Really?Where are these classes held? From as young as I can remember, I've been taught when a woman says 'no', she means it. Boys are also taught not to hit girls - yet girls are free to hit boys with little, often no repercussions at all - apparently, men don't bleed. Sexual assault happens a lot - in my school (and others, of course), girls used to play a game known as 'whack a sack' - any line of boys were targets.

To be fair, the claim that rape is about control, not sex, is contradictory to the belief (and data) that suggests that most people accused of the crime didn't consider themselves committing a rape. Such cases of "grey rape" can be about many things. My point? Let's not say that rape is all about control. Let's concede that sometimes it really is just about sex. And sometimes it's about a completely different issue. On an unrelated note, how can I reveal comments that others have voted as bad?

I'm not even talking to you now, I'm just leaving a comment to point out how obvious it is that those who are racist tend to be on a lower evolutionary level than those who are not. They oftentimes act like hateful primitives, and it's easy to see even by reading their youtube comments that they're unintelligent and emotionally immature. It makes me not angry, but sad...that some people are so blinded and miss out on the full potential that they could get from life.

Yes. Because it's just so logical to call a white girl living in a Christian suburban, all-white neighborhood a 'nigger loving slut.' But as a matter of fact, I am NOT a 'nigger loving slut.' I'm a human loving being. And you're....Well, there's something deranged and wrong with you.

Can you read? Obviously, you don't understand that literally hundreds of guys have whistled at me in the past. I can't walk outside without WHITE animals ogling me. They're disgusting. I'm not racist, but did I mention they're white?

I would like to note that I live in a wealthy, white suburban neighborhood. Just to show you how white it is, I'll tell you that there are only two black kids in my entire high school. Honestly. And everyday I hear white boys and men call out to me, or whistle, or honk their horns. The two black boys? One gave me a pen in class when I forgot mine, I think. And he definitely didn't stare at my ass.

My favorite quote on this topic you guys touched on, 'Silence Perpetuates Rape'.Great video. It is definitely a cultural thing... it can't be so rampant and NOT be cultural and accepted, on some level, as normal, by the majority of Americans.
