how do you figure the elephant has no clue? you think its just a bunch of random strokes that happen to resemble an abstaction of its own species? or perhaps the handler trained it? I am curious

This made me cry - the rich blood-sucking bastards of this world who laugh at such rustic industry shall burn in hell. While the richest countries of the world whinge platitudes at Copenhagen this week, may we all take pause in this simple documentary.

exploiting the poor animals by making them paint the same thing every day so they can sell the prints at a couple hundred a pop probably. the elephant has no clue what he's drawing. still impressive...

Maybe that is how they see, they do have different eys than us and they have eyes on the sides of their head, so they see very different than we do. We are talking about a completely different intelligent species, who knows what they see.

Tired of reading about "God's" world and wonders in most YouTube videos... There's no god. There, I said it. Anyway! As far as elephant brains are concerned: they may be huge, but so are their bodies. When we say that big brains indicate intelligence, we mean relative to body size...

The fact that this elephant is able to put a reproduceable image on paper is amazing. No other animal on earth so for has the capacity or physical self-control to do what this elephant is doing right now. Of course its trained, but dont humans have to be schooled in how to do basically anything? Including learning the lines that make up a drawing that can be made at will from memory? My point: We need to bioengineer super smart elephants and create a mega-army to dominate the Galaxy. GO EARTH!

Do you know why this elephant can draw? coz people train them... and still some people do not think this animal can't draw coz they don't realize this is a trained elephant. Do you think wild elephant can draw... nah. For the money, people can do and will do anything... including train an elephant to draw.
