VERY funny! FYI 6/8 is not the *only* Moroccan rhythm & if you read the article "Loving Remembrance" on my website, you'd know when, how & why I was given that name. 8-)Morocco a/k/a Aunt Rocky

Ha! Shouldn't she be dancing to a 6/8 if she's called Morocco and not a 4/4? ;-)

Grace and timing, fluend movements and the feeling for the right movement in the right moment - that is what makes a real good dancer. Watch those popular dancers, you can exchange them one with another and nobody will mention it - they are beautiful, gracefull and well trained but the have no personality, the are bellydance pin ups. Watch Morocco, Lucy, Nagua and all the others and you will see the difference!

This video just proves that bigger, faster, stronger isn't always better. You're so graceful and just exude joy when you dance. :DHopefully I'll be able to say the same after 57 years of dancing!

How lovely you are! I regret that I live too far away to be able to see you live and must make due with a virtual visit. Your costume is exquisite, your technique well-developed and your style so elegant. Thank you for letting me take a peek.

Thank you all SO much! After all these years/ experience, I've found that one brain - especially in a female head - in more than enough.(big grin!)Use the castanet technique as a clue in my cymbal playing ... Aunt Rocky

I agree 100%.... this beauty has more stamina than 5 twenty year olds combined! I took a 3 hour workshop with her and while the rest of us were dying from exhaustion, she didn't even break a sweat! Gotta love her and admire her talents... they can't be denied!

Awsome! great to see you dancing, Rocky! Hard tobelieve that the first and last time I saw you dance live was thirty some years ago at a "Bellython" for Muscular Dystrophy at the Darvish....you made an indelible impression then with your spirit as well as your dancing...that same spirit is here in spades...the true spirit of a dancer, something very real, deep, natural and not at all forced...blessings to you!--R
