The Jet draft mistakes are classic. Even when they pick a good player, it is the wrong choice, like in 1981 when they passed up Ronnie Lott or Kenny Easley for Freeman McNeil when their secondary cried out for help. 1983 was the same thing. As for 92, it was interesting to see all the distraught faces over J-Mitch. I thought that he would be a good player, but he didn't work out.

And believe it or not, the Jets were dumb enough to bite on the drug rumor bait on both Marino and Sapp WITHOUT ANY EVIDENCE. That tells you all you need to know about the franchise. Throw a bait into the NFL Draft, and the Jets will one of the few teams dumb enough to believe it.

I love that one fan's analysis: "Everybody said Marino would be around at that time, they would take Marino. [By picking O'Brien] They obviously know something the people up here don't."Classic.

That and the fact that he was in a position they could've had Marino so he was constantly being compared to him by fans.

Rozelle is hysterical. At :22 he pauses after he says the word "quarterback" knowing full well that the Jets fans are at the edge of their seats. You can almost see that he gets a little bit of enjoyment out of the Jet fan's torment. But the best has to be at :55 - the crowd reaction after the Lageman pic. Even the Buccaneers guy is laughing uncontrollably with his mullet.

My favorite team DOES have a drafting problem. That being said, Sanchez isn't bad at all for his first year in the NFL.
