The yellow car in front is the Shinoda designed 1970 Torino Talladega II King Cobra (the Mercury was to be the Cyclone Super Spoiler II) ....only three were made and two survive. It is rumored one race ready KC was built and tested by Holman and Moody. The car never made it to production as the winged cars were strangled by nascar.

It had to have been the 90's. The yellow car that you see in front of the Superbird is the Ford King Cobra. Fod built it to compete in the "aero wars" against the Superbird and Daytona but they only built 2 and they were never raced.

You can be certain it was around the 90s also due to the color of the pavement, looks like Talladega
