the best advice i can give you, is, just remember that their all individual. not one way will work with them all. work from your heart. they are visual learners for the most part. be patient. the fact that you love them really helps!

I am a first year teacher. I feel terrible, because I don't know what I'm doing. I love my kids and want to do the best I can for them. If you find out her email address please let me know. I'm crushed right now. Need good advice!

Watching her is like talking to my 11 year old in some ways. They have ALOT of the same habits....I must have my hubby and my sons teachers watch this!

Temple is a wonderful person who has been very helpful in offering suggestions that have helped us in assisting our son with his emergence from the autism disorder. If you get the chance, go see her speak. She one of the most dynamic speakers I have had the opportunity to see.

My 3 year old has just recently been diagnosed on the autism spectrum and this and others like it have given me a glimpse of his world. I am so thankful to have the opportunity to live in his world when he has such difficulty in mine.

This is incredible. I can relate to sooooo much of this and I've never been diagnosed on the autism spectrum.

i have two sons that are on the autism spectrum and both of their cases and behaviors are totally different. i have to read books just to learn how to teach my children. one thing she says is how brilliant that they are but some of that is due to alot of these children being right brained.

I really want to punch people who give autism a generic description. Autism is such a wide term that it is virtually impossible to say what autism specifically is because every case is different. I saw video's of autistic children who refuse to talk to their parents, but frankly if anyone around me treated me like a fucking moron I would probably do the same thing.

I love how they had a person who actually had autism. Because if they had someone who didn't have it I don't think it would have been explained as well.:D

It is interesting to know about and understand Autism.I don't believe I'm autistic, but everyone is different and autistic peoples' "differences" interest me.It is ashame how people don't want to know more about other people. People have characteristics for various reasons.
