And with good reason he'd use different weapons. A person cannot be confined to just one weapon alone. They will need all the necessary equipment they need in order to win.

Yes, he developed a 2 swords technique, and he only used 2 swords against multiple foes. Also, this match actually lasted only 3 strokes, Musashi attacks, Sasaki ripostes, wounding Musashi in the forehead, and then Musashi counters cracking Sasaki's skull. Musashi himself said Sasaki was the greatest foe he ever fought and it was the longest duel he ever fought, most usually over in his first strike.

@Vanta yeah, in his own book "the book of five rings" he mentions that he uses two swords together. But otenko is somewhat right, he fought duels with many different weapons.

Musashi used two swords when he was ambushed by 30 students of a school he insulted. i believe that is the only time he actually used two swords.

musashi is the one using the wooden sword, and no, musashi doesnt use 2 swords. he only did that in the video games. the real musashi was the guy who always adapted to the situation of the battle, and his opponent's abilities and finding ways to defeat them. i guess if i refferenced the game, it would be that sword called fusion in brave fencer musashi
