Glam was cool until it turned into hairmetal no thanks to shit like Poison (or maybe Bon Jovi, but at least some of their songs were cool). I hate how people perceive glam and hairmetal as the same thing. Motley Crue is by no means a hairband, since they actually make good music, but bands like Warrant, who were only in it for the fame, are not glam in the least. It's like grunge and post-grunge, one is real and edgy, the other is a fake imitator that appeared shortly after the former got huge.
