@xemily91 The guy who's obsessed with the pointed-stick is Eric Idle.

What is the guy's name with the pointed-stick obsession? I believe that's Eric Idle to the left of him (on the end), and John Cleese is the master of sorts. i LOVE this scene. <3

All hail indeed!I don't have a problem with stereotyping provided it is done with humour and is not overtly offensive. It also helps if you are prepared to stereotype your own nationality, and the Pythons are never afraid to do this as in sketches such as "Upper Class Twit of the Year" mocking the British class system.

Well... I am German and I like Monty Python more than any other comedy-group. And certanly more than any German "comedy".Most Germans really seem to have a preference for... mh... simple comedy. But we do not prefer Lederhosen and we do not eat big Bratwürste all day. Zet is not fanni! *slap*

@Bestmanme08I don't know who WOR and WLVI are but they are clearly fans of slapstick if they prefer Benny Hill to Monty Python. The only other people I have come across who would hold the same view are Germans. They like slapstick as well, along with tight leather shorts and massive sausages.

Benny Hill Show considered funnier and better than Monty Python by two TV stations (WOR and WLVI) --I agree!
