@tiborzkarate I think it is the other way around and Richards does a poor impression.

Too bad all you can hear near the end is Hedy's overly-loud voice

Maybe it's that way up there in NYC, but come down to the Hill Country of Mississippi, around Clarksdale and up and down US-61, it won't be that way.

Actually, It's not too uncommon in bluegrass. This is a pretty cool concept for a show, just musicians talking shop, sharing stories and finishing with a tune.

John hurt seemed to be such a sweet person! I loved listening to his story. His natural friendliness and warmth can be felt through his music.

I wonder how many guitar players ever played in a quartet with 3 banjos? I feel blessed to see & hear John Hurt, all these years later... or at all, for that matter! onward... ^..^

The original text goes " I'll get you in my dreams" and not "I'll see you in my dreams". They had to clean up the words to get it onto whitey's media at the time. Then when mainstream whites took up the music (Hound Dog by Presley) they made a fortune and never gave any credit at all to the originators of this wonderful music.

God Bless Pete Seeger, but he is a buzzkill, cammayhue. You are correct. he did help give a voice to these fine musicians. His heart is in the right place.

Pete Seeger always looked so stiff on television, no personality at all. John looks much more relaxed than the rest of them. I love the old music, but I could never stand the Weavers, or any of the urban groups. Just never sounded real.
