well, forget about Victor this year. I think they have to sign a first basemen-- I don't like Dan playing 1st everyday, an outfielder or two, and 2 or 3 SP. After those holes are filled, hopefully they'll have enough to get some bullpen help. I think starters come first for them because they have no one outside Santana.

I'll tell you what, the Mets will get to the postseason next year, I can feel it. Phillies better enjoy this ride because if we can stay healthy, it's over. If we had K-rod in 07 and 08, I think the Phillies fate would have been different. If I am Omar, I'd take a chance with Sheets and Harden-- I think you can get them for dirt cheap. I think injuries can be overlooked at times and they can't let these guys go, at least sign one of them.
