pbilger, We may not agree on all points, but I'm informed enough. We do agree that it was a mistake by the Bush Reps [and Dems]to drop the ball on Afghanistan and the Taliban. However, Iran is the biggest threat to that whole region. I hope we can avoid war, but we can't tolerate Iran to do whatever it wants. If we do, they will attack Israel, our ally. pbilger, Believing that we need a strong defense and military prescence, does not neccesarily mean supporting the Iraq War. Personally, I think it was a bad idea. That doesn't mean there aren't real threats out there. If you remember, there was no Iraq war when 9/11 happened. The fight against muslim radicals is not something Bush invented out of thin air. Anmerica should never forget that.
