i love you so much for saying that! it's so true though. everyone interprets music and books and quotes in their own ways. as long as find something in it, it's okay. we all relate to song differently and there is nothing wrong with it. a good musician can make songs that could have multiple meanings :)

I've noticed, fans of the CCM industry like to shove down the fact he's a Christian. And yes, I am as well... Plus I like some CCM. But regardless, Mat is a musician and a Christian. Not a Christian musician. Yes, he distibutes albums for InPop Records, a Christian record label but his main label is Aware/Columbia so to call his just a Christian artist isn't fair because he never set out to be one. He went out to reach believers AND non-believers. NUFF SAID :)

Oh, jeez. Honestly. One of the most beautiful things about music is that it can be interpreted by the individual. So if soemone wants to think it's about God, they can. If they want to think otherwise, that's fine too. If you want to interpret it the way it was written by the singer/band, look up what they wrote it about.But arguing over it is a bit ridiculous- just let people enjoy music the way they want to.
