I think so.But I always has the capo on second fret.SO there is one problem, when I play 1:56 on this vedio,I have to use my little finger to play 6th string/6th fret.Maybe it is a little difficult. So Masaaki has the capo on the 4th fret.

He is playing an acoustic cutaway jumbo guitar with a separate pick up. Hence the really full tone. Very nice indeed.

It seems to be a "Grand auditorium" model (the shape suggests it), probably made by a Luthier.

Are they sold outside of Japan? Do they have a website? I like the sound of his guitar and I wouldn't mind trying a water road out for myself.

Does anyone know what kind of guitar he play? (Please, no one respond with, "acoustic", or "steel string"...that much is apparent)

I have a question.this song is usually played in DADF#AD with a capo on second fret.but here Masaaki has the capo on the third fret.so does that mean he initially tuned his guitar to Db Ab Db F Ab Db?When i try DADF#AD with a capo on the third fret it sounds really crappy.
