Most pit owners are wannabe toughguy assholes who couldn't raise a hamster correctly. But its not the fault of the breed. In the hands of a semi-responsible owner (ie no criminal record, homeowner, gainfully employed, obtains a pit for the dog's virtues, not to increase his personal "street cred", etc.) this breed is awesome. Its a physically strong dog, with a fragile temperament.

they're only violent if the owner forces them to be that way, as a matter of face pitbulls are the nicest dogs in the right hands, but u can also control them so they can attack on command or whenever they feel necessary

I Hate the breed. Ive witnessed more horrific attacks by that breed of dog than any other. They attack other dogs unprovoked, humans and even horses. If I see one of those ticking time bombs on my property, my gun is out and ready. I am not going to let it attack my dog, horses or family.
