The car you are referring to was the first custom car to lower and raise suspension. That car was not made for bouncing. Low ridding is more then just bouncing.

You need to catch up on your history. The first low rider was a corvette. I don't think so. I do not think anybody knows what the first low rider was. That movement started long before the 1950's.

I know your post is old. But you are right about the history of low riding. White people have a lot more respect for your art then some assholes would like to admit. Us white people love low riders. I wonder what the compression and extention are on those shocks I'm putting together a 65 convertible and I'm finding it hard to get shocks with the stock mounts that will give me 15" compressed and over 28" extended? Any help?
