Im Mexican, the song doesn't offend me. From What I know, TEXAS belonged to MEXICO and there were MEXICANS in TEXAS way before the RED NECKS. I think it was the RED NECKS that invaded TEXAS, the MEXICANS were already there (now TEX-MEX).
