LOl. the fact of the matter is that 80% of the kenyan population is christian with roughly about 10% muslim. There has been a war on terror going on and our muslim brothers haven't behaved as they should. I don't mind organizing a funds drive for their food, but they shouldn't tell us what to do after what has happened in their hands. as for soccer, it shouldn't be tribal - as you know tribal politics can cause a significant damage. otherwise they tribes end up together for the wrong reasons.

freegastanker, some of your comments I respect, but now I think ur being ignorant.I also saw another post where u commented that "Muslims" can't tell us what to do.You need to think before you post your ignorance on the web dude..i'm not Muslim, and football actually brings people together. You DO NOT have the answers to everything.Stick to what you know.

Get it straight. I did not have an Harambee and I was never shipped here. stick to the issues without diverting the main points. Are you thinking straight? we are trying to discourage tribalism in this country of ours..... Kenya moja!

It's the truth! We need to pull together as people of diverse backgrounds.. GEMA is another issue but sports contribute a big thing too. Kenya moja!

@ Freegastanker, I think you main problem is since you are abroad you think you have the answers and solution to everything. The games were played way before your smart self got shipped abroad thanx to the harambee that was held at your home. Dont just go around playing that 'I know it all attitude' You know as little as the rest of us.!

It is quite absurd to blame football for tribalism in Kenya for the battle is just on the sports ground with people having fun. Even the players of each team, i.e., Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards do not all belong to the same tribe. It is organizations like GEMA that undermine national cohesion for one cannot join if one does not belong to a certain tribe.

First of all I'm not a kikuyu and I never knew Thika United was kikuyu. I condemn them as well if that's the way they have chosen to go. The fact of the matter is, we are trying to do away with tribal affliations before another tribal catastrophy unfolds soon inform of tribal violence. Do you see my point or you are dead drunk?

@ freegastanker I wonder why you never say that when Thika United is Playing, I wonder why you folks feel like mmechanuka na kuona mbele kuliko kila mtu kenya kwasababu mko ulaya! Usijidanganye jamaa. This game has brought this two communities together much more than what your men Kibaki and Uhuru will ever do! Wacha kujidai mjanja!
