In fact, there still remains a small number of them in Jbeil ;) Go study the history instead of regurgitating what your prejudice parents taught you. dude just go look at the genetic make up and stop talking, just go look at the history of the Ottoman persecution of the Shi'a and how they were driven out of their homes. In villages in Batroun and Al Koura there is a significant presence.. Actually Shi3a from Lebanon went to Iran not the other way around.

LMAO they did not. Please do not make up history. Mousa El Sader is LEBANESE by origin so is Mohamad Bakir El Sadir. Mohamad's family moved to Lebanon long ago and Moussa's family did too, they are originally from Tyre aka Sur. Lebanese Shi3a are amongst the original inhabitants of Lebanon. In fact they were once the clear majority, they inhabited Jabal Lebnan and Trablus... Your so ignorant its sickening. Shi3a's were driven out of their lands in the rest of Lebanon and sent to other parts

You are Ignorant Again,Shi3a Origin from Iran is clear in the Family Names of religious leaders, Amoung which were Hussain Mousawi, Mousa ASder, and so many others, Shi3a came from Iran and Northern Iraq and later after the declaration of Motasarifiat Jabal Lobanan Muslims Flock to Lebanon from All arab and Neighbouring countries as a plan to settle there and outnumber Christians, Shi3a Philosphy in Land Occupying is to settle near oldest cities so after some years they claim to be original

You are ignorantLebanese History with European presence included :300 years of Greeks, 700 years of Roman, 250 years of Crusades, 35 years French Mandate.Lebanese European Haplogroups among Christians is Around 18%

Shia Lebanese are from Persian? wtf they are just as Lebanese as a Maronite or Sunni. And this can be proven by the fact that all Lebanese people have been shown to carry same haplogroups which is NOT Persian. Now you can argue that Iraqi Shia are fake Arabs and have Persian roots. Some believe they have Iranic traces in their background. But Shia Lebanese are like a third of Lebanese society and are definately Lebanese. It's the Persian who try to look Lebanese, not Lebanese looking Persian

fyi, it is like 1-2% and I can cite my source if you'd like. oh I mean 2% for ALL Lebanese both Chritian and Muslims. This 2% admixture is R1 which is considered an Indo-Aryan haplogroup. This could possibly come from ancient times when Phoenecians traded around N. Africa and Sotuh Europe where they picked up a tiny amount of this Haplogroup.NOT from Crusuaders because Mid East Christians did not mix with them due to cultural differences plus many MidEast Christians prefered living under Muslim.

well it has become Mediterraean but it has roots in Arabia from thouasands of years back. basically, all Semitic peoples have roots starting in Arabia from thousands of years ago but many migrated out of the region over the course of many years, like the Akkadians, Ghassanid Arabs, etc. each group settled in different regions and some settled around the Mediterraean region This explains why Italians and Greeks would even have traces of j2 in their blood.I agree that j2 has become Mediterranean.

Pittdog, I agree with you that Lebanese girls are very beautiful but I disagree where you say they are European/Arabian mix. There is No European dna in them which makes them 100% pure Mediterranean/Mid Eastern beauties with haplogroups j1/j2(Arabian) and E1b1(Mediterranean).
