well it has become Mediterraean but it has roots in Arabia from thouasands of years back. basically,all Semitic peoples have roots starting in Arabia from thousands of years ago but many migrated out of the region over the course of many years, like the Akkadians, Ghassanid Arabs,etc. each group settled in different regions and some settled around the Mediterraean region This explains why Italians and Greeks would even have traces of j2 in their blood.I agree that j2 has become Mediterranean.
