I have a question...Why does it (for example) say "Jah", but it's said as "cha"? Why not write it as just "cha"? Is romanized kind of like pinyin? Where it's written one way but said a totally different way? lol

The ㅇ is silent when occurring before a vowel. When it's behind a vowel, it's pronounced like a "ng" sound, like in sing.That's why 아 sounds the same both times, and also why it is in front of every all the vowels when she is going through them. Notice the 아, 어, etc pattern
