you would probably need a 151" board but if youre begginer you wouldnt really want to try anything challenging yet

im sure, but any suggestions on boards? i have one but its really stiff, and i was told that stiff boards are better for mountains, hard landings, which isnt what i would do, and i was also told that if you have a board thats stiff and your a beginner that it will pretty much screw your day at the hill.

Snowboarding and skateboarding arent really alike, even though the tricks r relatively the same and ur on a board.. u'll slide all over the place on a snowboard for the first while.. i suggest taking lessons the first day.. i took lessons my first time and i was carving by the end of the day. so u should be able to learn it in a week. u'll prolly be hittin rails and small jumps by then. snowboarding hurts the first few times so try to not to use ur wrists to catch urself. u'll be sore all week.
