i have this game on my ps2 and its alll in english and have angel its not matter in japan .and its really good ...maybe the graphic is not good and hard to make spiacal moves but still good.

dude get a dreamcast and find the game in ebay! or find it in MAME and by a controller. 98 dream match is pretty good, is well balance and the graphics are pretty good (dreamcast version). King of Fighters dream match

I would say the main difference between 02 and 98 is the gauge system....In 02 once u r in shinning mode then u can bust out all the combos u want if u time correctly (but not in 98)In 98 there r chances u can call out a striker with the right buttons and right character (but not in 02)hope that would help =]

yeah the only kof i dont have is 98 and 99 (im not gon even bother with 99) but ultimate match for ps2 is the closest i'll prob ever get to a 98 b/c i dont have neo geo or dreamcast (i sold it...damn)

i think 02 is freaking good, i've never played 98 but it must be good too, im a KOF game collector and so far i have all of them exept 98,96 and 94, i even have the SNK VS CAPCOM ones, but in my opinion i think KOF2002 is hella good, i just love it, 03 and above are kidna sucky....
