A new discovery to be boasted of.. Shankar Ramakrishnan...i was wondering who is the dialogue writer of the movie in the starting scene bcos of the uncanny similarity to Renjith. But the credits go to Sankar.. Characters gets added in every scene, with the audience not getting any idea abt the happenings, and finally the culmination of the Journey.. Top class. Waiting eagerly for a filmy debut of Sankar Ramakrishnan..Kerala Cafe review, snehasallapam.

Shankar Ramakrishnan's Island Express splendidly bonds together diverse characters and more in a dramatic climax that makes this film one of the best in Kerala Café. Competently scripted and shot in brilliant tones, Island Express marks the spectacular debut of a highly promising director. Kerala Cafe Review, now running website

...I liked the way this story unfurled. There is this tinge of surprise element and as the missing pieces fall in place, the journey of common suffering after a disaster is a touching tale. - Kerala Cafe review, Forumkerala

Jesus, Frankenstein & Mangalassery NeelaKantan. When the protagonist reveals his heroes to us itself, I got the tone of this film. Nothing short of excellent for this film as everything is pitch perfect from the ballsy theme, snappy dialogues and unforgettable performances from the lead artists - Kerala cafe review, snehasallapam forum

i think mr Ranjith did it purposely...becoz if he put mohan lal in his this experimental movie, lal will make it by himself,he will do a brilliant perfomance in his part and the other all part will become side lined...we have seen that in twenty twenty, how mohan lal made it by his unique perfomance...so let us watch this movie and make it a success for ever..
