Putting political and ideological views aside, the pilots did their duty as ordered, where "no" was not an option, they died to preservere honor for their homeland and the Japanese people. Though they were not called heroes, but they gave their lives for their country in a desperate time of epic proportions, like any other. Please lets not disrespect them. Acts Islamic terrorism should not be associated with these WWII pilots.

Welcome to the new generation, Old man.and 29/8/94 ain't my Birthday.Maybe you're not Japanese but, still..If a war starts, go sacrifise yourself. End of Conversation. Call me ignorant, whatever. You may continue thinking that 'sacrifising' lives is honorable.

Woah, so now I am an American?Love your assumption..Its your homeland, its natural to struggle trying to protect its name. Try looking at another angle. Suicide as last resort? Pfft.

If your handle is your birthday, then you are just like so many other young americans who are historically ignorant. The kamikazes were not stupid, they were devoted to trying to do anything they could, to the point of sacrificing their lives, to save their homeland, something that I doubt you in your selfishness would ever do. They faced their enemies in uniform, unlike the cowardly Islamics of today, who do all they can to hide behind their civilian populations.
