With regard to health care, our country continues to be sold out to "Corporations" by the very lawmakers who are supposed to represent the people. The middle class is what makes America Great. The Corporations own ALL the lawmakers Lock, Stock and Barrel and they have no intention of giving up their government granted privilege of virtually monopoly (oligopoly) power to fleece the American Middle Class on everything from credit, to water rights, to health care.

The Patriot Act -sic- was enacted by the U.S. Congress on October 26, 2001, at the request of President George Bush2001 congress was Republican. The FBIs use of national security letters to get information on Americans without a court order increased dramatically, from 16,804 in 2007 to 24,744 in 2008.The 86 year old librarian case happened in 2007.2001 to Jan. 2009 was the Bush Administration. Failure to debate FACTS discredits the ability to promote fiscal conservatism. Please Stop.

The Judge was right on all points. The liberals want to circumvent the Constitution. This country was not formed by a bunch of Atheist. The God fearing people that wrote our Constitution covered all bases and did not try to or discriminate against anyone. The liberal a++holes today will do anything to make a third world country out of our Nation.

So, for all of you bleeding hearts out there that want to freely give everyone else's money away, I ask you.... are you ready to have someone like the DMV call your doctor to set up an appointment, then give you a number and have you wait for the next available opening, days/weeks... and by the way, they will also tell the doctors and hospitals what they can do for you, what they can't, if your to old, you get put back father in line. If you like the DMV, you'll love the new health care system!!

Even the Judge under estimates liberals. I called one of my senators today and asked where does the Constitution authorize the federal government to control healthcare? The young staffer responded; "Article 1 Section 8." i said; the general welfare clause? He said yes. I proceeded to tell him why he was wrong; he wouldn't listen. This is where our country is today.

I don't know where hauskalainen lives, but he obviously has never experienced the joy of personal freedom and liberty. He doesn't understand that it doesn't MATTER if it's better, worse or the same. WE WOULD RATHER DIE FREE THAN LIVE A DEPENDENT LIFE, DEPRIVED OF LIBERTY, LIKE YOU.

Patriots, not conservatives-not progressives-not rightest-not leftst, just those that want the government to hold to the constitution & the amendments that was given to us by PATRIOTS. The Pilgrims came here to escape religious persecution. First schools were built by those very same people who were religious figures. I wish people would read their history books before making stupid statements. Any form of government to circumvent any amendment is against the constitution & is illegal.

The far right are the conservatives, not the progressives. I agree, conservatives want less government, less taxes, less restrictions. We want to maintain our freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom to bear arms, and freedom to govern ourselves, not have the government steal our money and limit or eliminate our freedoms.

I am not sure why people think the constitution is the 'far right'. It is LESS gov't control not MORE like these progressive COMMUNISTS in the white house are now trying to impose on us... with all kinds of speech codes, taxes, and overarching laws about energy and health, taking over every part of our lives.. the progressives are the extremists, the nazis if you will, NOT the constitutionalists carrying yellow flags!

The far right is the foundation of America. It is Christianity that laid the ideological groundwork of our country declaring that all people are created equally and have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Christianity provides freedom from bondage, and liberty from opression. It is because of these beliefs that you have the freedom to speak your mind, regardless of how ignorant and perverse it is, on this forum.

Right about The Patriot Act. Wrong about Health Care. Especially when he says the government cannot run health care. We have great government run health care where I live and it costs HALF what you Americans pay and delivers BETTER quality than the you get in America.Americans need to change their constitution so that it gives the people freedom to give powers to the government where it makes sense and reserve the right to democratically take it back when needed.
