Listen we had about half the troops there, and now that we are adding 30,000more we will surpass that. The US saved Britan's ass and helped rebuild Europe for 12 years after WWII. Even today though European nations(except the UK and France) have realtively weak militaries and low budgets. True Europe has helped but not nearly as much as the US especially in terms of combat troops. I think JesusFreakDK put it very well too.

Wrong. NATO started the war - the US called upon its allies after it had been attacked. Denmark was part of the war in Afghanistan from the beginning, and we have more than pulled our weight.However, it's not correct that "Europe is as strong as America", and it "can handle themself". Europe is divided into dozens of nation-states, where the US is united in one. Had it not been for the US, Europe would be under one kind of totalitarian rule or the other. Either nazi or communist.

Well we were aiding the Allies all along. Crops, weapons, loans we helped them survive. Also the Germans transfered hundereds of thousands of veterans to the western front after the Russian Reolution. True the Germans were suffering from the flu and bloackade which really pushed them to settle for peace. Although I agree 100% on what you said about those presidents.

Europe in recent times has had no reason too. We provide them with military advancements and are their ally. We do the dirty work while they send a few troops to say the helped(like with Afghanistan) However NK Iran etc feared us under Bush. NK dismantled a nuclear reactor in 2008, then 2009 comes around and they launch missles left and right.

H1N1 is a joke, the only ones who died were the old people (who you ultraliberals want to euthanize anyway) or people with other diseases/medical conditions. IT KILLED LESS THAN THE NORMAL FRIGGING FLU. I would much rather have to deal with H1N1 than the avian flu.
