Why do you get away from my question? When did U.S.A. give the African-American the civil right? Is the Native American the glorious American nation? When Empire of Japan merged Empire of Korea in 1910, Japanese govt. emancipated the slave of the Korean and gave the fundamental human rights. Japanese govt. gave the franchise same as Japanese to every Korean who live in the inland of Japan.

When Filipino captives escape into a crowd of citizens, guards could not find them. There were many people who suffered from a disease in both Japanese soldiers and captives. Japanese soldiers died, too. All told, approximately 5,000-10,000 Filipino and 600-650 American pow died before they could reach Camp O'Donnell.American side used this accident in exciting fighting spirit improvement namely the anti-Japan sentiment of the public opinion as a model of the barbarity of Japanese.

I hear the story that The Japanese soldiers felt jealous of walking captives without having anything. The then Japanese army moved on foot usually. Seeing from U.S. forces, they have thought it to be abuse, but it was common in the Japanese army. The death toll of the march is difficult to assess as thousands of captives were able to escape from their guards. Because there was little number of guards, many captives escaped easily.

This case is not a massacre was performed systematically. There was not "the Bataan death march" for the purpose of abusing captives like the pogrom of the Nazis from a beginning. Because the then Japanese army was poor, there is a problem in that Japanese army was not able to prepare for vehicles to move captives in the safe area from the battlefield. The Japanese soldier to escort carried a load on its shoulder and they carried a gun on their shoulder and walked as same way as captives.

To MsCellWhere was your country? There were only three independent countries in Asia when the Pacific Wars happened. Those were Japanese Thailand, China. The remainder was a colony of the westerners entirely. The Japanese Army formed Indian National Army and Burma Independence Army and Indonesian Pembela Tanah Air - Defenders of the Homeland. INA and BIA fought against GB with Japanese Army.Do you like servants of the westerners?

And why is it that it's actually not Westerners crying out against Japan, but Asians? Why is it that most of the anti-Japanese sentiment is in Asia rather than the West or Americas?

@jpnsunrise1 Why doesn't Japan teach about WWII and their War Crimes during this time period? At least the US teaches about it's War Crimes in various places during different Wars so things lie it will never be repeated. Note* even today the already unpopular War in Iraq which most US citizens are against have been on the news with reports of War Crimes commited by the US army. And the soldiers who commtied them were immediantly removed and or fired.

@jpnsunrise1 Why is it that no asian country today agree that Japan was liberating them, but instead sided with the truth of Japanese occupation and colonization of their country, which to them was no better then the European powers? I'll awnser this one for you. It's because we as asians once thought better of Japan, that they were asians who were able to modernize, but boy were we wrong, they slaughtered us, forced us to work as slaves, forced our women to work as comfort women.

@jpnsunrise1 And also please note* Did the Chinese want the Japanese in their country? How bout Korea? Or Thailand which was an independent country never captured by an European country? And why do all the territories they conquored today still report Japanese brutality? Why comfort women? Why attack Manchuria? Why is it the the locals of your so-called liberated countries often sided with the allies and often performed gurillia warfare on Japanese troops?

@jpnsunrise1 O and once again consider what you are asking. All US territories could apply for stateship. Think to yourself. Hawaii (today a proud US state) allowed it's citizens including the aboriginals there, vote on statehood, what was the out come you ask? Today Hawaii is a proud US state, it's aboriginals are all proud US citizens. What do they think of Japan? They love the country, but think that it should not deny it's war crimes to it's fellow asians.

@jpnsunrise1 A comment by jpnsunrise"This is a place studying aggression of Asia by the U.S."This is literally the most Japanese baised thing I've ever heard, just a Japanese man simply using the blame game. *Please note that the comment of this video is JAPANESE OCCUPATION IN THE PHILIPENES, not the US occupation. Japan during those days did nothing to help us in anyway. They commited acts such as the Bataan Death March and the Manila Massacre. All these are in FILIPINO perspectives

@jpnsunrise1 What are you talking about? If this is so than why did Japan invade us? Our country was in the middle of industrializing and anvancing our society with new health care, educatin, and transportaion systems. Japan had absolutly no right to invade our country under any circumstances. They were no better than the European colonists who colonized us in the first place. In fact they where simply people replacing the European colonist.

To shameless MsCellThis is a place studying aggression of Asia by U.S. forces. If U.S. forces were not in the Philippines, the Philippines may not have become the battlefield. You cannot hide barbarity in Asia by U.S. forces. I teach the war crimes of U.S. forces slowly from tomorrow. However, why do not you answer my question?Who did ruin Hawaii kingdom by a plot? Did the Philippine people want to become the colony of U.S.A.?Did the Vietnamese want to be murdered by U.S. forces?

To ignorant korean koshThe Korean romanization is often changed by S.Korean govt.. Example in 1948,1959,1984 and 2000. A spell of same place, same person's name is writing different. If there are words, say to the NYT or Chosun Ilbo of S.Korea. Example:Busan Metropolitan City= 釜山広域市 is spelled in 2 way at least.- Revised Romanization Busan Gwangyeoksi - McCune-Reischauer Pusan Kwangyŏksi
