duran duran took what they did and turned it more to pop. A lot of it is too eclectic/odd to even be called pop.

I have been trying to get into this band for a bit now, mainly because I love Richard Barbieri's current work, but I have trouble witht his synthy-pop stuff of their later albums.

If it wasn't for Japan there would be no Duran Duran,Kajagogoo,Thompson Twins, etc. They were the pioneers of the New Romantic movement. So influential! I'm a hard rock fan but really appreciate what they did. I bought this exact album as an import and was so impressed with the entire recordings.

Unique sound and melody!!! Synth/ Vintage = 80´s! I wish I could turn back time and relive it all... I was born in 1981, so I had to content to listen to few songs on radio and watch some videos on TV... THANX FOR POSTING! LET´S BRING THE 80´S BACK!
