Thanks.Just so you know, Mammoth Ivory comes from an Extinct Animal. National Geographic tells me that the last mammoth died 4000 years ago.

"Snake skin! "Ivory! For a fire fighter he sure has low morals, and no respect for living creatures, Those blades are nice, but I will never buy one from him, Good review.

154 CM: Carbon 1.05 %; Manganese 0.5%; Chromium 14%. A high carbon alloy, a very hard steel, first used for knifes in 1972. Used for combat knives by companies like Gerber and Benchmade.nice choice for those two knives

im no expert, but im thinking if the person buying the fancy knives knows alot about knives, he could be a collector.

I just wanted to know why someone would buy a fancy knife. Whats the difference of a normal one and one with gold imprints and ivory handle, If you get it for looks then you are the one who is ignorant.

> k3uw69 said on 01-10-2009 at 14:11:
such ignorance..

> tamaplayer22 said on 01-08-2009 at 23:48:
hey those are some cool knives, how much did you pay for the one with the snakeskin handle?

> TheStyxWolf said on 01-02-2009 at 05:42:
k dude the function of most knives is for utility purposes and self defense if the need occurs. if your going to use a knife for killing, or be in the 'force' which i doubt; your going to get something like a Ka-Bar not a custom knife. custom knives are as he said for firefighters in emergency situations, and if you ever go camping and just want one for utility purposes. obviously you need to learn what knives are for

Then you probably shouldn't buy one..
