Yes, I know. I'm all for not needlessly wasting energy. But to say that global warming is caused solely by man is ridiculous. Most of it is caused by nature and is a natural phenomenon. I'm all for stopping pollution, etc, but burdening people with carbon taxes is just a scam alright. The Greens want to create jobs? Don't make me laugh! Green jobs? A good idea to a certain extent, but some of these jobs wouldn't be long-term in nature. The Greens don't have much integrity - they were going to expose the corruption that went on with the Corrib Oil fields but once they got into power that went out the window. I hate the way the Greens want to tax us on carbon, when many people have no choice other than use a car. There aren't even enough buses in Dublin. Dublin public transport has only a capacity of ONE FIFTH of the entire population. The bicycle is only suitable for short journeys and Dublin isn't safe for cycling in anyway.
