zhx12345 just copied several comments from people on the Asianfanatics forum and pasted them here. LOLanyways, I love both artists & I don't think either one of them is better than the other. I'm a die-hard Jay fan, but I have to acknowledge that Leehom is super darn talented. I'm also a huge Leehom fan, but I have to say that he isn't perfect in all aspects. Leehom's music is definitely NOT orthodox because he tries different style and genres.

Think whatever you want, BUT everyone has its own judgement about an artist. End of the discussion

Lol, her voice is weak? haha, how can her voice be weak if she can sing and dance live? That means her voice is stronger, stronger than Selina's. There's much more difference between weekvice+dancing and strongvoice+dancing. Get the facts. Besides, you said earlier that she can't sing live, but now, you said that she can sing live, so... i don't understand you position... also, you were the on who was replying to me when I said something about Jolin, and now you dont want any replies?

*face palm* I never specifically stipulated that Jay and Leehom are the only ones that can sing live. Jolin's voice is weak, and mediocre at best. Yes she can sing, but she cannot sing as good as Amei, Ding Dang, Alin, Fish Leong, or even some really decent newcomers. I've been to several of Jolin's and Show's concerts/promotional events before, so that's why I'm making such a speculation. I'm actually quite "informed" This is probably my gazillionth time here. No more replies please.

lol, what's the point of saying Koreans sucks?? There are no koreans here, so you're just wasting your time on posting this comment. Go to a Korean-related video and post this comment, because posting here, it won't even change anything to us.

and i have to agree that Super Junior&Big Bang CAN sing live very well, unlike Fahrenheit. So, for those who aren't fans of BigBang&Super Junior and who doesn't even know the basics about them, zip it. Not all boybands are overrated. Just go see the video of Ryeowook (from Super Junior) singing Leehom's kiss goodbye. You'll see that he is MUCH better than Aaron Yan who also sang Kiss Goodbye.

Mumbling would just disallow the lyrics of the song to be pronounced properly. Lyrics could be read out too. So, would you say a person who reads out lyrics clearly a good singer? No, they aren't even singing. No tune, no melody and therefore, no song. And for those, who says that Jay Chou is overrated and the media hypes up about almost everything he does. Do ponder awhile, why does that happen all the time?

If he doesn't mumble, he isn't Jay Chou. What does his mumbling matters to those non-chinese people who listens to him in places like Australia and the United States of America. They still find the need to look up into lyrics provided on the internet or in lyric booklets. Why would mumbling make him a bad singer?

i just dont really like leehoms songs. for me, jay's stuff, especially his older works, such as Qi Li Xiang, Fantasy, Ye Hui Mei and 8 Dimensions are much more creative. I feel like i can relate to his songs better than Leehoms.

o me, leehom's music is kind of too... orthodox. the melody follows the rules of composition to strictly and so its easy to predict what the next section or phrase or even note will be. Maybe, this is because of his high-class education, he's just trained to do what he was taught. this can be a bad thiing OR a good thing. jay has only had a little education in music, compared to leehom.

what? Jolin&Show can't sing live?? LMAO!!!!! It's like you're saying that it was only Jay&Leehom who can sing live. Well, Jolin can sing live very well, for Show, I'm not very sure. But I just know that Jolin can sing&dance live and it's not lip-syncing. Be informed before criticizing.I agree that some korean boybands aren't very successful, but 2 of them were really successful (BigBang&Super Junior) 2005 to present. They can really sing and dance.

OMG, I dont know why you still want to argue this old-topic with me. How can you compare Jay&Leehom to korean boybands? That's so stupid!! I've only gave examples of korean boybands, and now, you try to compare my example to Jay&Leehom, seriously get a life. And please, don't reply to me again because I assure you that you will not see my new replies to you ever again. End of the message
