Dear GoldenButeo,I started a new book that someone from youtube named Vince, recommended to me. It's by Charles Colson. He wrote, "In every action we take, we are doing one of two things: we are either helping to create a hell on earth or helping to bring down a foretaste of heaven. We are either contributing to the broken condition of the world or participating with God in transforming the world to reflect His righteousness."How Now Shall We Live, is the book.

@swankydeezle There is a satan...He was an angel that wanted for power...His name was; Lucifer. He wanted more power, so he deceived other angels, and God couldn't have those sinful angels in his sinless palace...so he threw them out which led to this! But one day God will crush Satan! And also, if there's going to be an anti-christ there is Satan!

Man is responsible for the pain in torture on earth, no man is completely innocent so hence all of mankind deserves hell. Christ had never sinned, he was completely innocent, in that is where the sacrifice lies.

I believe in Satan. In the same way that the demons believe in God. And shudder. I know you weren't asking me, but I believe there is a Satan, but WE TRUST in Christ!! Hallelujah! Satan knows that he is doomed to suffer the same fate as all who oppose God, and he is desperately trying to drag as many as possible down with him. Praise the Lord, Satan is doomed.

And I don't understand your comment about satanism. Do you believe in satan? From where did he come? What has satan ever done for humanity? he is selfishness personified. a liar and the father of lies. But, you're right, many praise him as their master but, soon become his captive.

I understand what you are saying. And it makes sense unless you understand that Jesus took all the SIN of humanity upon Himself. There is really no way for humans to understand exactly what that felt like. Imagine having the ability to actually have the most evil deed done by man placed on you. And imagine you didn't deserve it, but chose to have it placed there. Then imagine every evil deed and thought being placed on you. Imagine that God literally had to look away from you as you became SIN.

it's not really a sacrifice to get beaten and sent to hell for 3 days when millions and millions of people have been tortured just as bad and sent to hell FOR EVER! if you really look at your text you must see that it is insane to believe that your god makes any sense at all.

The wages of sin is death. I have read that so many times. And if one begins to think on it, the seriousness of it bowls you over. Sin is never a trifling matter. Even our "hidden" ones. Sin has a tri-fold effect. It hurts our relationship with God, ourselves and our fellow man. In SOME way, each sin-or lack of doing the right thing, has far reaching consequences. You struggle to grasp God's justice, but do you have as hard a time grasping the depth of His forgiveness?

...Not only does Paul explain it much better than I ever could, He does it in the minimum amount of words required... and it still takes 16 chapters. "On Christ the solid Rock I stand...."

Death ALWAYS has and always will be the penalty for sin. Heb. 9:22 "...Without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness." God's character never has changed, nor will it. He DID choose to sacrifice His ONLY son, because He knew that, in order to be true to His character, a perfect and spotless sacrifice must be offered. It was offered, ONCE for ALL THE SINS OF ALL WHO BELIEVE. Read the ENTIRE book of Romans....

Hello again!....Sorry if my answer before didn't go with what you're asking, I guess if you really want to know if there is other hymns and bands for worship then you would have to keep researching. Through books and other websites. By the way good question! Maybe the Lord is trying to teach you and myself something. May God bless you!

so god does change then? i was told he was eternally omnipotent with no change in character throughout his inspired holy book. i guess if he sacrifices himself TO himself, to change the rules he made than he will no longer require blood sacrifice. makes perfect sense. thank god for the freedom to choose him or suffer eternally. think about what you are saying. i love you more than any made up deity from altered bronze age manuscripts ever could. free YOURSELF!

The was the Old Testament God. The shedding of blood by Jesus Christ on the cross satisfied the blood sacrifice! What glorious freedom we have in Christ!

Well, about the Christian music, my question was IF there is any other religion that has as beautiful of songs to its gods than Christianity. I guess I am looking for a yes or no. If there is, which I highly doubt, I'd like to know what the religion is. My question isn't about whether Christianity is true or not. I believe that it is. I just want to know about other religions' music. : )
