Just cuz you're too close minded to try and understand Black Metal doesn't make it a less valid form of music. I will tell you why people listen to black metal. It is an expression of dark emotions. It is a way to vent hatred whether it be towards the church or whatever else. Before I listened to metal I was very angry and expressed it in ways that I now regret. Metal helps me release this anger so I don't end up killing anyone.

its sickness, evil, satan, all the dark despair of human existence. by no means should the vocals come off clean or clear. the emotion is what drives black metal like this.there is many types of metal to choose from just find yours and let us have ours!

Yeah. I'm more into swedish metal, manowar, industrial metal (check out Rabbit Junk, you might like them. almost every song sounds different. A lot of Hit or Miss kinda stuff,) some prog stuff....pretty much all over the place. I like the occasional death metal band too (decapitated is amazing,) but I just can't listen to black metal for some reason. It's hard to put my finger on.

Well that's where you are wrong.Blackmetal is in no way less melodic than any other form of music just because most bands don't use clean singing. The melodies are in the chordprogressions, the riffs.Still, I can see why you don't like it. I don't usually listen to it anymore.

90% of the time, the vocals ruin black metal for me. I just listened to Ye Entraceperium and the opening vocals were terrible but it sounded ok when the clean vocals kicked in. Then it got bad again. The instrumental doesn't impress me much in black metal either. There's not much melody, and most of the songs are just speed. There's the occasional solo that sounds ok, but the bulk just doesn't sound good.IDK, to each their own but I just don't see how most of this is hailed around the world.

How can you shun Emperor?Their orchestral song arrangements are brilliant."Ye Entranceperium", for example. Great song, great chordprogression and great melodies.What about it do you hate?

I've tried listening to Immortal, Emperor, Venom, and several other bands hailed as "good" black metal. They all sounded terrible.

With that attitude, you're not going to find good blackmetal songs. Because you're not willing to find them.

I will never understand why people like black metal. There are a very small amount of black metal bands out there that can put out a passable song, but the majority of them are garbage like this. Playing fast and talking in a gravel voice about satan and shit =/= talent. By the way, nice fucking makeup. Looks like a fucking clown with downs syndrome.
