Any Western Digital Scorpio (Model#: WD1200BEVS)HDD will work. Only 120GB is Max. You can go on ebay and buy one for 30$-50$ and up. Some go for 24$ (bidding).

looking at the video its definitely not a 3.5" hard drive (desktop HDD), its too small..But if you look up the model number: Seagate LD25.1 it comes up as a 2.5" (notebook HDD) 5400RPM.Ie, the cheapest notebook drive money could buy.. thank god for Microsoft.

I bought the regular Microsoft 120GB HD pack with the transfer cable and then swapped the drives since I wanted to keep the Halo 3 case but have 120GB on storage space. Worked just fine when you know what awaits you when opening the case etc.

where did you get the hard drive to replace it? and how much did it cost, i mean like you bought just hard drive and not the whole case that you would have had to take apart and remove to get at the hard drive.

yo junkson the point of this is the hard drive in a xbox 360 is a SATA Laptop hard drive soooo if you can open it up you can repleace the 20,60, or 120 gb hard drive in there and you can slap a 250,500,1tb and more its actually very useful

Really,GENIOUS, eplain to us ALL how AFTER a game is installed to the HDD that u can play it WITHOUT the game disc, as it is a measure FROM MS to PREVENT idiots like yourself form pirating games. If the game is installed, but not in the drive its NOT even listed to PLAY. Further more here is the OFFICIAL XBOX comments on it PROVING it ONLY works with the dvd IN the dvd drive. It is made to reduce heat..not give us free ability to play games without the disc!

u are a fucking dickhead, y the fuck u keep mentioning that u got selected early, one time is enough. the first thing that comes to mind is that u don't need the fucking disc to play the game, as if ur so special.... lets all listen to makeshift and believe what he/she says, hahaha lol... fucking cunt....yea and fuck is the only word in my vocabulary.
