Somehow I still don't like this version, no offense to LeAnn, she is completely talented but I still think I like Trisha Yearwoods' version better.... It is my opinion though, I just think there is too many lifts and twirls of the voice for me...

The movie producers didn't choose Trisha's version, there was only one version at the time;Leann's,who signed a 3 record deal with the movie company, the director/producer wanted Leann to rerecord her version,when her father refused,they hired Trisha to do another version .. they wanted a more adult sound.. remember Leann was ony 14 when she recorded this son for Dianne Warren. So they took her recording and Trisha into the studio, and recorded Trisha version.
