if you violate somebodys rights even through their own ignorance you and everybody you worked for and with are scum. knowingly violating an oath to the constitution, which law enforcement takes, is considered an act of treason.

"clearly profiling". Just your interpretation of what you have observed. Looks like you're the one profiling the officers.

Just so you know I used to work in a regulatory capacity for the government and we loved it when people didn't know their rights it made our jobs easier. We didn't do anything illegal but ignorance made it easy to get what we wanted.

Hey there. If everyone stood up for your rights like you do this country would be a better place. For people who say "just say you are a US citizen and let them do their job." Shame on you for giving up your rights because it's easy. You shouldn't be able to ignore the laws of this country just because you have a badge and a uniform.

I just wanted to say thank you. Some people may call you petty, but our government is trying to take away our rights bit by bit, and I am glad that there are some of us that aren't going to take it. Keep up the good work. You're a bad ass.

They'd probably exempt the cops. Where I live now, they're exempt from the laws re mobile phones etc while driving. Anyhow, drive safely amigo.

Well I'm not living overseas and there's no law requiring 'two hands on the wheel' in Arizona. If there was, most cops would have to write themselves tickets since I observe them routinely operating their in-car computer systems while driving in traffic.

I get the whole questioning authority bit, but what's the camera set up? I'm living overseas now, and cops would pull you for holding a cell phone or camera or anything in one hand while driving. They're pretty strict about the "two hands on the wheel" bit.

Watch the movie "Children of Men". That's exactly where all this shit is going. the government has destroyed the country with NAFTA, illegals and bull shit terrorisms threats and now their solution is going to be check points, random illegal searches, illegal detention of innocent people, free speach cages, hyper cracked out cops and troops. It's ingenious, you can't take that away from them.
