Henry Rollins has a punk background(not blink 182 or that sk8r boi chick, real old school punk) not blues or any other of those types of music. Compare apples to apples. What ever you want to say about you can not deny that he IS an artist. His observations and insights are a tasty treat that everyone should enjoy.

dude I checked out your "guitar lessons" on your youtube page. You are in no position to judge talent, cause' you don't have any. Henry Rollins is widely respected for a reason. All music is not about harmony. You might want to think about your youtube page before you knock a true artist.

The lyrical prowess of the song itself makes it an excellent song. Why is that? Because it is an excellent song.

Melody; a rhythmical and otherwise agreeable succession of tones. Harmony; an accordant combination of simultaneous tones. Nothing in this song is agreeable or has good harmonics... hes off key singing wise badly, and the the drummer is just back there like a 3 year old banging on a trash can. And this isnt hard rock, you want hard rock? Try Led Zeppelin, or ACDC, thats real hard rock... this is talentless... and music requires TALENT, something he doesnt have.
