I agree. I'm not a furry either, but I write slash, and believe me, I get shit for it, too. Most furries or slash writers are very sane people- I have a boyfriend (Who KNOWS I write slash!), a group a friends, and good academics. I'm just like everyone else. And so are most furries.As long as what you're interested in doesn't physically harm or put other people in danger, then you shouldn't care what those other conventional assholes think.

Only a small of people in the "furry" culture are interested in it for sexual purposes. And those people could probably use some ridicule yes. But you could classify biologists as "furies" because there interest in animals but its a very important and needed job occupation.I my self have no stand anywhere on the furry ladder, but i think people need to stop being so ignorant and stupid about it.
