yeah...i mean, it was easy and basic english that he talked so that might also be a reason.and english a world language, german is not, so it's not that suprising that you would be lost in a german audience ;-)

well i never insisted it was widely believed germans couldn't speak english. i know European countries a lot of people know multiple languages, but the fact the entire audience knew it was a little baffling. it makes me feel stupid. if i was in a german audience, i would be so lost lol.

well except for maybe the older generations, nearly everybody speaks at least basic english in germany. and today, kids start learning it in first grade here, sometimes it even starts in kindergarten. the thing that germans don't speak english is just an oooold stereotype (same with the heavy german accent)

Haha, I studied Danish for a year in college, and that Danish impression was amazing! Check out this video to compare it.watch?v=wrKGQHcb-nUWait till they get to a spoken part. It's harder to hear the quirkiness in song.

politicians thought about a new language for europe (called esperanto: a mix out of german, english, french and spanish), many years ago, so all europeans would speak the same language.that language exists, but it never accomplished, so they decided english to be the 1st foreign language in every country of the EU.so everyone in the EU has to learn english in school and can choose to learn an (and which) additional language. thats why ; )

His American accent is spot on hilarious (speaking as on myself), it sounds almost like Jack Nicholson with a slight southern draw. This is such a great joke to translate, anybody can laugh at this. Thanks for posting!

Your English is really good but you have mixed up 'their' with 'they're'. 'Their' is POSSESSIVE while 'they're' is a shortened form of 'they are'. I'll not even start on punctuation and capital letters.Maybe English is not your mother tongue, but just in the case that it is, if you are going to write offensive statements about other nationalities, you should make sure you have mastered your own language well enough first.Best wishes and every success with future nationality bashing.
