This is ironic, a major flaw in its democracy want and yet the US wants to spread democracy across the world!!! Dear god!! Are we all insane?? Democracy is not even an efficient system nor did the founding father support this system!! and according to Aristotle democracy is a corrupted system.

Odd that both major parties extoll high tech voting. Not really when one thinks about it and who really runs both parties.I have never missed an election since I was 21, but when these Orwellian voting machines come into my district I doubt I shall ever vote again because the system will not longer be valid or reliable to me. I am too old & too experienced to ever believe the propaganda being force fed the gullible public .

So then if we don't have a Democratic Republic, why have an electoral system at all? Are we not VOTING DEMOCRATICALLY for leaders to represent us and protect our Constitution? Other than that, what you all said I can agree with. But unfortunately you are wrong in thinking there is no democracy. I reiterate that this is a democratic constitutional republic HYBRID!

WE Paul backers, aka US Military will go Independent if Paul not candidate. Tired of dying to make big corporate, globalists, wealthier, while our families live in poverty when we do die for "America" and Constitution.

I understand your frustration. Lets just say that we in the military are tired of being used to die, while those who run the world, get wealthier. Paul or Independent for most military brothers/sisters. Sempre fi

You are incorrect, poisian is correct in stating this country is intended to be a Constitutional Republic. A Democratic Republic is not much different than the MOB RULE political system of a Democracy. A Constitutional Republic is based on the idea of INDIVIDUAL rights. The individual rights enumerated in the Bill of Rights cannot be voted away by the majority of citizens if they wished to oppress a minority who does not agree with the restrictions on liberty that they wish to impose.

You are incorrect and poisian is correct. "The individual rights enumerated in the Bill of Rights cannot be voted away by the majority of citizens if they wished to oppress a minority who does not agree with the restrictions on liberty that they wish to impose." With this in mind, a Democratic republic, much like a Democracy is very much a MOBRULE political system. The CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC is based on INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS which is what this country was originally intended to head towards.

First of all, this is not a "Democracy"... This is a Constitutional Republic that has obviously lost its way. I will not vote. I will not join or contribute to any political party.
