I cant stand people who say green day is not punk rock. You clearly don't understand what punk rock is. The main concept of punk rock is that it is simple music. How many different chords are used in this song? Sounds like 4 to me. Also the song structure is ABABCB (verse-chorus-verse-chorus-bridge-chorus). YOu dont need to live in a dumpster to be punk rock, its not ALL about the fashion.

like i said...nobody else would wear makeup...did u know that when punk first started in England they wore makeup and dark clothes kinda like a goth but not...mohawks and stuff came later...so technically they're punk rock. Get over it ppl.
